LED TV is not so different from LCD TV simply because it uses the technology of light emitting diode backlight instead of the normal lighting technology that uses LCD TV. It generally uses fluorescent lights. This actually allows the HDTV to become much thinner and project or issue clearer, sharper images. LEDs are light emitting diodes which are very popular because of its thin properties makes it suitable for fine electronics like cell phones and HDTVs. That is why it is possible to place a thin backlighting mobile phones and other devices such as HDTV.

There are many advantages of using light emitting diodes on HDTV. First, it eliminates the problem of glare. On most monitors, when she was struck by an external light, it would reflect light to our eyes which makes it a little difficult to watch the image on the flat screen TV. But due to edge localized LED dimming is now a thing of the past. It also uses far less electricity than conventional devices backlight. The reason for this is because it uses a light emitting process, a process for producing light in a simultaneous manner. Another advantage of using LED TV is that it provides a much more realistic experience of cinema in the comfort of your home with an image resolution significantly splendid, more color and image quality that are projected on the screen is superb. This would be perfect for your Home Entertainment and Blu-Ray. Thanks: HDTV reviews
